Regarding the required documentation to participate, you can download all participant forms in your Documentation and Practical Information area on your BIYSC account. Please follow the instructions there to download, fill in and upload the corresponding documentation, scanned and signed, before 9th June. No participant will be allowed to begin the program without these signed forms.

Please also, before 9th June, in your Practical Information area, fill in the information we need to manage your stay in the program such as dietary requirements, flights/train schedule, and booking to the BIYSC Barcelona cultural experience. A compulsory cultural visit is included in the fee, and different options are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend not leaving your booking for the last minute; otherwise, your favourite visit may be full.

Regarding the 9th edition of the Barcelona International Youth Science Challenge (BIYSC), which will take place in Barcelona from July 7^th to 18^th 2025, we inform you that your application has been preselected for:

Being pre-selected means that you have passed the first round, and the next step is an online interview in English with the researchers about your personal interest in the project. Be aware that the number of interviews is up to the number of projects you included amongst your choices.

The researchers in charge of the project for which you have been preselected are offering different dates and times to schedule an online meeting with you for a personal interview. Therefore, please check out your BIYSC account from today because you have your interview options to choose from there. These online meeting dates will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so please do not miss the chance to choose a suitable time.

Any communication with the researchers regarding the interviews must be done via your BIYSC personal account and through the internal mailing on the BIYSC intranet.

To access your account for the first time, select the login option and use the password recovery feature with the email address you used to apply for the program. You will receive an email with a link to set a new password.

The selection process consists of two phases: preselection and final selection. The preselection will be made based on the information provided by the student.
