Lidia Lozano

- She is currently carrying out doctoral research at the University of Barcelona in the Quantum Communications group of the Faculty of Physics, part of the Institute of Cosmos Sciences (ICCUB).
- Her research consists of the fabrication and characterization of singular photon sources based on quantum dots for implementation in the field of quantum technologies, particularly in quantum key distribution (QKD) applications.

Raúl Lahoz Sanz

- In 2023, he obtained his Master’s in Quantum Science and Technology from the University of Barcelona, where he specialised in the study of the experimental violation of Bell inequalities with entangled photons.
- He is currently a predoctoral researcher at the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the University of Barcelona, where he continues this line of research.

- Worked as a researcher in new materials for tribology applications at the MAHLE-Leve Brazil-group until 2015.
- Since 2015, has been a senior scientist at ICIQ in the group of Professor Galán Mascarós, specializing in energy harvesting and material sciences.

- Bachelor Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering from the University Rovira I Virgili of Tarragona in 2012.
- He completed a Master in Electronics Engineering from the University Rovira I Virgili of Tarragona in 2014.
- Since 2015 he is the Laboratory Engineer in the group of Prof. Emilio Palomares at ICIQ.
- His work covers multiple different areas and projects such as synthesis of quantum dots, Silica nanoparticles and light-emitting particles; characterization of these materials (measurements by UV-Visible, Photoluminescence and Time Correlated Single Photon Counting methods); preparation of materials for CO2 sequestration and separation; fabrication and characterization of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells; etc.
