Amadeu Gonga, born in 1996 in Barcelona, is a telecommunications engineer pursuing a PhD in Global Navigation Satellite Systems-Reflectometry (GNSS-R) at the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya. Since joining UPC’s NanoSat Lab in 2019, he has worked on significant projects including the 3Cat-4 CubeSat, the RITA Payload, and the ESA-sponsored GLIMPS project, which studies marine litter detection using GNSS-R technology. Gonga holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from UPC. His technical expertise spans programming (C++, Python, MATLAB), hardware tools (Software-Defined Radio, FPGA), and system administration. He speaks Catalan, Spanish, and English, and has authored multiple conference publications. He is also the current president of the ARANEM radio club.
